“Abbiamo intenzione di rinunciare al ‘ruolo senior’ di membri della famiglia reale e lavorare per diventare finanziariamente indipendenti, pur continuando a sostenere la regina. Stiamo programmando di trascorrere il nostro tempo tra il Regno Unito e il Nord America, continuando a onorare il nostro dovere nei confronti della Regina, del Commonwealth e dei nostri patrocini”.

Così Harry e Meghan, in un lungo post social, hanno annunciato il clamoroso addio alla famiglia Reale inglese (ma non al ‘titolo’, per ora).
Ciao ciao Buckingham Palace, per i due freschi sposi, che hanno così rinunciato al “ruolo senior” per avere maggiore “autonomia finanziaria”. Una clamorosa decisione che è stata ufficialmente approvata dalla Regina Elisabetta.
Meghan potrà quindi tornare a fare l’attrice, mentre Harry potrà concentrarsi sulla beneficenza, seguendo le orme di mamma Diana.
D’altronde, a volè esse schietti, Harry è il sesto in linea di successione al trono del Regno Unito e dei reami del Commonwealth.
Prima di lui ci sono papà Carlo, il fratello William e i 3 figli di quest’ultimo, ovvero George, Charlotte e Louis.
Insomma, Harry non diventerà mai RE.
E allora sticazzi.
