L’Academy ha annunciato i 15 brani originali ancora in corsa per gli Oscar del 2019.
Spicca, ovviamente, Shallow di A Star is Born, unico brano della pellicola in corsa per l’ambita statuetta, rincorso da “Revelation” di Troye Sivan, “All the Stars” di Kendrick Lamar, SZA da Black Panther, e da ben due brani de Il Ritorno di Mary Poppins. C’è anche Thom Yorke dei Radiohead, per la prima volta, grazie a “Suspirium” da Suspiria di Luca Guadagnino, e l’immotale Dolly Parton, con la splendida Girl in the Movies.

Fuori, a sorpresa, Annie Lennox, che era in corsa con la bellissima “Requiem for a Private War” per il film A Private War.
Il 22 gennaio le nomination ufficiali, con i 15 brani che diverranno CINQUE.
