Niente male per la Germanotta, chiamata a scontrarsi con la favoritissima Kirsten Dunst dello strepitoso Fargo, ma senza dimenticar Felicity Huffman per American Crime e Queen Latifah per Bessie. Dimenticata dai SAG AWARDS, premi assegnati dagli attori stessi, Gaga si è quindi rifatta con i Golden Globe, assegnati dalla stampa estera. Per Ryan Murphy una doppia soddisfazione grazie anche a Jamie Lee Curtis, nominata per Scream Queens. Doverosa, inutile dirlo, la candidatura per l’immensa Eva Green di  Penny Dreadful.
In ambito cinematografico, invece, spicca Carol davanti a tutti, meraviglia ‘queer’ di Todd Haynes, con l’immenso Ennio Morricone nominato grazie al nuovo film di Quentin Tarantino.
Indecente, a detta del sottoscritto, l’assenza della pazzesca Charlotte Rampling, a dir poco strepitosa in 45 anni.
